Meals on Wheels Needs Volunteers

Did you know that in 2010, 8.3 million seniors faced the threat of hunger?

Here in Alexandria, Meals on Wheels needs volunteers to deliver meals to sick and elderly residents on Saturday mornings, beginning in July. The time commitment is approximately one hour, once a month (or more if you like) and the deliveries are within the city of Alexandria (your own transportation is needed).

Please consider helping the hungry in our community.

Please forward to anyone that might be able to spare a little time.
