Alexandria Aces in need of host families

ALEXANDRIA ACES SEEKING HOST FAMILIES FOR 2012 SEASON

Your home town Aces are looking for hosts for college baseball players for the months of June and July. You will have the opportunity to get to know a college baseball player and enjoy season tickets to the Aces.

The Alexandria Aces Baseball Club of the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League is seeking host families for its upcoming 2012 season. Players begin to arrive in Alexandria on Memorial Day Weekend and all they need is a place to sleep and access to a washer and dryer, the Aces take care of everything else.

The Alexandria Aces are a part of the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League (CRCBL)(www.calripkenleague.org), a wooden bat summer program made up of amateur players from a wide variety of colleges and universities from throughout the United States. 

The league is regionally located in the Baltimore/Washington, DC metropolitan area. Teams in the league are the Alexandria Aces, D.C. Grays, Baltimore Redbirds, Bethesda Big Train, Herndon Braves, Rockville Express, Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts, Southern Maryland Nationals, Vienna River Dogs and Youse's Maryland Orioles.
