The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) is currently accepting submissions for the annual Pet Photo Calendar Contest. This gives pet owners a forum to highlight your best friends' endearing moments, while at the same time raise awareness and support for the thousands of companion animals who do not have a home and are cared for by the AWLA.
Registration is $25 per photo and includes a copy of the calendar. You can use the online fundraising tools to upload a photo (no humans, please) and email your friends and family to encourage them to vote or join the contest. The contest ends at 12 noon on July 31st.
