Sunday Matinee Series

The Friends of the Beatley Central Library are launching a Sunday Matinee Film Series beginning with "Politics at the Cinema," featuring a series of movies about politics, elections and voting.  

The schedule and films:  

Sept. 9,Dave (PG-13); 

Sept. 16, The American President (PG-13); 

Sept. 23, The Contender (R); 

Sept. 30, Wag the Dog (R); 

Oct. 7, Iron Jawed Angels (unrated documentary).  

All films will begin at 2:00PM at the Charles E. Beatley Central Library, 5005 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA ; www.alexandria.lib.va.us; 703-746-1702.  Free and open to the general public.  Refreshments will be served.
