Alexandria Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspects in Commercial Burglaries
Alexandria Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects involved in a series of commercial burglaries that occurred in the 4900 and 5300 block of Eisenhower Avenue.  On Sunday, October 21, at 5:24 a.m., three suspects were caught on surveillance video attempting to gain entry into a business in the 4900 block of Eisenhower Avenue.  The suspects were not able to make entry into the business but two other nearby businesses were burglarized around the same time.
In these cases, a vehicle was used to crash into a metal roll up gate causing extensive damage to the business.  The suspects were able to make entry into the business located in the 5300 block of Eisenhower Avenue.  Once inside the suspects removed copper piping and then gained entry into another business by prying open an interior door.  The suspects took computer equipment and an undisclosed amount of cash from that business.  They also took a large selection of cigars containing various brands and a blue marbleized humidor.
Surveillance video of the attempted commercial burglary in the 4900 block of Eisenhower Avenue and the suspects involved can be viewed on the Alexandria Police Department’s YouTube Channel:  youtube.com/AlexandriaVAPD.
The video surveillance footage shows two male suspects and one female suspect attempting to make entry into a business.  The suspects are unsuccessful in their attempt and a dark colored conversion van pulls up to the business to pick them up.
Two suspects appear to be black males wearing jeans and jackets.  One of them is wearing a dark colored baseball hat.  The third suspect appears to be a black female with short hair.  She is seen wearing white pants and a white top.
Anyone with information about this case or who recognizes the suspects in the surveillance video is asked to call Detective Adrienne Miller of the Criminal Investigations Section at 703.746.6734
Detectives would like to remind citizens that they may remain anonymous.
