Winter 2014 Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities Program Guide Available Online Wednesday, November 26
Subscribe by Monday, November 18 to Receive the Program Guide by Mail
Subscribers to the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities program guide will receive the Winter 2014 issue by Monday, December 9 and it will be available online by Tuesday, November 26. Registration for Winter 2014 classes begins on Wednesday, December 11 for City residents and Friday, December 13 for nonresidents.
As part of the City of Alexandria’s Eco-City Initiative, only individuals who have subscribed will receive the program guide by mail. To request a free subscription, visitwww.alexandriava.gov/ recreation or call 703.746.4343. Requests must be received byMonday, November 18 to guarantee receipt of the Winter 2014 Program Guide by mail.
By Wednesday, December 4, printed copies of the Winter 2014 Program Guide will be available to the public at City Hall, City recreation centers, and public libraries located throughout the City. Individuals can also download a free copy online atwww.alexandriava.gov/ recreation beginning Wednesday, November 26.
The program guide contains a listing of the programs produced by the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities and registration information, including classes, special events, sport leagues, park and facility information, art news, and more. Distribution occurs three times each year: Fall (August); Winter (December); and Spring & Summer (March).
