Did you know that learning to read can make the difference between a child becoming a dropout or a graduate?
The Alexandria Tutoring Consortium needs reliable volunteers to tutor kindergartners in literacy skills once or twice a week for two 20 minute back-to-back sessions, at the school during the school day.
Patrick Henry needs 4 tutors for 8 kindergartners twice a week; George Mason – 2 tutors for 4 kindergartners twice a week;
NEW PROGRAM John Adams – needs 14 tutors for 28 kindergartners twice a week. Lesson plans, materials and training provided.
