Alexandria Human Rights Commission Presents: "Lives that Changed the World: Nelson Mandela"

On Tuesday, February 18, the Alexandria Human Rights Commission invites the public to attend a special presentation and discussion of the life of Nelson Mandela. The Black History Month presentation will feature the film "Lives that Changed the World: Nelson Mandela." This free program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Charles Houston Recreation Center, 901 Wythe St.
For the last decade, each February, the Human Rights Commission has met to present and to discuss important topics related to the African-American experience, race relations, and historical figures.
