Art on the Avenue Pie Contest Seeks Bakers

Bakers of all ages are encouraged to enter the annual pie baking contest at Art on the Avenue! 

Pies can be entered between 10 am and 12 noon and judging will begin at 12:15 - in two categories: Youth (under 17) and adult. Following judging slices will be sold for $3 a piece.  

All proceeds from this year's pie booth will benefit Pam Fitzgerald. Pam is our friend, Del Ray neighbor, Del Ray Business Association board member and tireless Art on the Avenue and Bellefonte Wizards volunteer, who is currently battling breast cancer. For the past five years Pam has coordinated the Art on the Avenue pie contest and this year we're using it as an opportunity to help offer her financial support for living expenses during her cancer treatments.
