City of Alexandria to Host the U. S. Navy Band “Cruisers” on May 12
The City of Alexandria will host the “Navy Band Cruisers,” the U.S. Navy’s premiere contemporary entertainment ensemble, on Saturday, May 12, 6 p.m., at Market Square, 301 King St. Admission is free, and attendees are welcome to bring chairs or sit around the bench seating in front of City Hall.
The Cruisers feature seven of the Navy's most dynamic performers and takes its name from the Navy's versatile and flexible ship – the Cruiser. The band plays many genres of music ranging from jazz & standards, rhythm & blues, classic rock, adult contemporary and pop as well as original material. The group plays across the United States as well as abroad entertaining audiences with their world-class musicianship and high energy, fun-filled performances. For additional information on the U. S.
