GW Middle School Fundraiser

Thanksgiving may look a little different this year, but your dessert table doesn't have too!  George Washington Middle School PTA has partnered with Maribeth's Bakery and the PTA is selling pies (and rolls) to support the growing needs for GWMS families that are hurting this holiday season. The funds from this fundraiser will go toward our gift card campaign to help the community.

 

The offerings include:

      Pumpkin Pie - $20

      Apple Pie - $20

      Pecan Pie - $25

      A Dozen Pull Apart Rolls - $7.50

 

Pick up for your purchase will take place at GWMS on Tuesday, November 24th from 4-6pm. It's easy! Just drive up to the Mini-Gym and we will put the items in your car. No contact necessary!

National "Flip-Flop" Day at Tropical Smoothie Cafe June 17

What is National Flip Flop Day?: National Flip Flop Day® is Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s holiday, every third Friday in June, when we celebrate our customers and raise funds to benefit our charity partner Camp Sunshine. 

All customers wearing flip flops will receive a FREE Jetty Punch Smoothie from 2pm- 7pm. 

Join us this year for National Flip Flop Day on Friday, June 17th! 

$1 Million Dollar Goal: Our 2016 fundraising goal is $1 Million Dollars! This year Tropical Smoothie Cafe will be celebrating our 10th year partnering with Camp Sunshine. We are proud to say our fundraising efforts and the work we do can make a real difference in the lives of the children and families that attend Camp Sunshine. In 2015, through donations big and small, we were able to reach our goal and donate $1 Million dollars to Camp Sunshine. We can’t wait to do it again!

Boots & Bling: A Western Fling Fundraiser for Alexandria's Kids

Annual fundraiser to help Alexandria's Kids continue to provide services to child abuse victims and vulnerable families in Alexandria, VA.  

When: February 25, 2016, 
Where: Blackwall Hitch Restaurant, on the waterfront, Old Town, Alexandria, VA 
When:  7-10pm. 

The event will include: 

• live music
• dinner (including a full taco bar!)
• open bar

along with a chance to win: 

• a week in Jackson Hole
• a weekend in Washington, VA, 
• a $2500 Neiman Marcus card, 
• and/or a signed Chip Esten (TV’s Nashville) guitar.
