Get ready! The 1st Annual Family Fun Day and 5K is Sunday, September 30, 2012. Four events: Timed 5K Open with Age Group awards, 1 Mile Kids' Course, Tot Trot for those under 5 (100 yards) and 5K Walk. Lots of fun: Ribbons for kids, random prizes, food, vendors, and activities. Tot Trot at 7:45 AM, Timed 5K Open at 8 AM, and 5K Walk/1 Mile Kids' Course at 8:45 AM. By participating in this great event, you are changing the world. 100% of race proceeds are donated to Alexandria, VA-based charities and African water-well projects. Jog-stroller friendly. No pets please.
