TC Parking Info on Permits for Upcoming School Year

2018-19 Student Parking at King Street For the 2018-2019 school year, parking on the Chinquapin Loop Road will require a City of Alexandria (not T.C.) permit during school days and hours. Permits will be available to qualified seniors based on a lottery system, with 175 permits available. A Chinquapin Loop Road parking permit will be required for parking on the Loop Road from September 2018 through June 2019, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The parking permit fee is $120, and the permit is valid for the 2018-2019 school year. Vehicles without a permit during these times will be ticketed and/or towed, with enforcement beginning Monday, September 24. Applications for the lottery are available on the Park and Recreation websiteand in person at Chinquapin Park Recreation Center & Aquatics Facility, 3210 King St. Applications will be accepted until noon on September 7. The lottery will take place on September 10. Permit enforcement will begin on September 24. There will be no student parking in the T.C. Garage.TC

Free Parking

In Old Town, the City of Alexandria is offering free parking at all City meters on Saturday (parking at meters is free on Sundays). Parking in Del Ray is always free!

Fall Crew Registration

Fall season registration for the Alexandria Crew Boosters (ACB) and the Old Dominion Boat Club (ODBC) has started. The TC Williams Crew Boosters “Learn to Row” Program is designed for beginning rowers and those who have completed summer crew and/or fall crew program(s). It’s open to 7th graders and above from any school district who would like to learn to row or sharpen their skills.  The ODBC Select Rowing Program is designed for the rower who has completed one or more high school spring seasons of competition. Most boats will compete locally at Occoquan and Georgetown with select boats rowing in Boston, Philadelphia and Chattanooga.
