Due to a conflict last month, we are pleased to remind parents that the Del Ray Business Association has rescheduled the Back to School Forum for this Thursday evening, September 22nd beginning at 6:30 pm at Mt. Vernon Rec Center. This is a wonderful service that our local businesses are providing free of charge to our community. The Forum will begin with light refreshments and the opportunity to get photo ID cards produced for your children which means your child must be present to participate in that part of the program. This will be the first in a series of monthly public forums open for citizens to learn about and discuss issues of importance to our community.
All forums will have town hall style, Q&A and refreshments will be served.
Program:
FIRST AID KIT: Doctor Jennifer Lee, Steinmetz Medical Associates, will discuss the necessary items to always be prepared.
EYE PREVENTITIVE HEALTH: Doctor Dora Adamopoulos, eye2eye Optometry Center, will discuss eye health and back to school tips.
HOLISTIC CARE for CHILDREN: Acupuncturist, Stephanie Simmons of AcupunctureinDelRay.com, will discuss holistically strengthening your children's immune system.
CHILD ID: New York Life will be available to produce photo child ID cards. Both parent & child (ren) must be present at the Public Forum. ID will be given to parents and NYL will not store information. Child ID will begin at 6:30 PM.
