Congratulations to Virginia for their grade of “meets the requirements of Part B of IDEA” for the 2012 state determination letters!
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires each state to report to the public on state-level data and individual school division-level data and to report on whether the state and the divisions met state targets described in the state’s special education State Performance Plan (SPP). An example of an indicator is “Graduation”—the percent of youth with IEPs graduating from high school with a regular diploma.  For more information, check out the links below:
