Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities Schedules Athletic Light Replacement at Simpson Park
The City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities is replacing the existing athletic field lights at Simpson Park, 426 E Monroe Ave. The replacement lights will include state-of-the art cut off technology, improve energy efficiency and reduce the number of light poles around the field.
Work is scheduled to occur through February 15. Residents will see equipment in use and crews at work during the daytime. For your safety please use extra caution when moving around the site.
