Pet Photo Contest to Launch Tuesday

Our annual Pet Photo Calendar Contest launches this Tuesday! The contest is the League's most popular fundraiser, attracting more than 30,000 visitors annually to vote for pets, and we are aiming to raise $40,000 this year!

Pet lovers may submit a photo for an entry fee of $25 and will receive a special donor page that they send out to friends and family to collect votes for their pet. The donor page will feature the pet's photo and a short bio. People may vote as many times as they like for any animal at $1 per vote. The pet with the most votes will become the 2015 cover model. It's the ultimate pet pageant!

This year AWLA has added a special way to honor pets. For $10 people may purchase a date on the 2015 calendar to mark their pet's birthday, adoption day, or as a memorial.
