Here in Alexandria, Meals on Wheels needs volunteers to deliver meals to sick and elderly residents on Saturday mornings, beginning in July. The time commitment is approximately one hour, once a month (or more if you like) and the deliveries are within the city of Alexandria (your own transportation is needed).
